Reviews From Our Guests

Jen Schmall

Our guides were well prepared for us. They had dry bags we could use if necessary.  They even lent water shoes and waterproof jackets for those who didn't have them. They spent time on correct form for paddling and emergency procedures.  They oriented us with a map of the lake and explained the natural history of Yellowstone.  During the ride the guide told us various historical stories about the region.  Very well run and fun tour. Not too strenuous. Our guides, Brian and Jonathan handled an accidental out of boat episode calmly and professionally,  ending in the guest getting safely back on shore. Great outfit and superb guides.

These guys were so much fun, we had non stop stories and information about the area. The trip felt safe and was a unique way to see the lake.

We did a multi-day trip to Lewis and Shashone Lakes with our guide Brian, and could not have been more pleased with the experience. Brian is a superstar guide with incredible knowledge of Yellowstone, both the nature and geology, as well as the history and how it tied into pivotal American historical events and the larger-than-life individuals that drove them. Ask Brian about John Colter while you are towing your kayak between Lewis and Shashone Lakes, and you will be drawn into excellent storytelling that distracts you from the slog;) Brian was also an excellent cook, and accommodated all of our dietary needs, which were many. We will certainly be returning customers. Loved it!
